Measure the time with your actions – hairdressing course

The social-educational center “Popasul Iubirii Milostive” hosted between the 11th and 12th October 2016, through the initiative of the director priest Petru Munteanu, an event organized by the Foundation Together for Social Solidarity and the Parish “Sf. Voievozi” from Săvineşti, Neamt County, namely a free course of hairdressing.

In the previous years were held training courses (sewing course, embroidery course, pastry course, candle making course), after which the participants have either discovered a new passion or became masters in one of the jobs.

The course took place within the socio-educational action “Măsoară timpul cu faptele tale ” (Measure the time with your actions), the trainers being Viorica Jingoi and the stylist Ana-Maria Andrei.

During the course the participants received information about styling and trimming techniques, basic rules of hygiene, methods of sterilization of the intruments. The audience was captivated by all the things that were shown, being pleased to learn modern braids and hairstyles, but were less excited when it came to the lawn; the fear to error made them reluctant.

Ms. Viorica Jingoi has an extensive experience in hairdressing for over 15 years, and during the course he told us: “It all started when I was very young, I was fascinated by this profession and I really wanted to follow it. Essential in this job, besides talent is the devotion. I always wanted to leave everything I do great. I urge all people who want to do this job, to not  hesitate to follow their dream. This profession characterizes me and I do it with great love. “

With an experience of almost 8 years in barbery, hairstyle and makeup, Ana-Maria Andrei told us that she can’t imagine herself doing another job. “I started by taking a hairdressing course in Piatra Neamt, then I wanted to perfect my makeup technique and I took a course in Bucharest. I worked a lot for the television station, I have some experience and I really want in the future to have my own salon.”

The course was appreciated by all the participants, being very satisfied with the things they learned.
